Seminar: Baltic as a model region for green ports and maritime transport

‘Facing a change: opportunities or threats for the Baltic market?’ will be the theme of the Baltic Ports Conference 2015 organized by the BPO and hosted by the Freeport of Riga Authority.
The meeting will involve Project Partners’ representatives, and regional relevant LNG stakeholders.
The meeting will concern the matter of how new sulphur regulations have been applied in Baltic countries and how they are controlled.
Seminar will concern issues how to improve air quality in ports and port cities and reduce emissions of air pollutants and noise.
The Goal of the meeting is to present and discuss the opportunities for comprehensive ports within the CEF 2014 Call recently opened by Innovation and Network Executive Agency (INEA).
Baltic Ports met in Rønne at Bornholm (Denmark) to discuss main challenges that are ahead of maritime transport in the region.
An internal Coordination Group meeting was held on 26th March in the port of Helsingborg’s premises.
